Each player can move left or right, or interact with the Bombs. However, player one (Herb)runs across the surface of the planet, while player two (Hamster) spins the planet as he runs in place inside the planet. This spin affects Herb.

Meanwhile, Herb must gather the incoming bombs and stick them through the ground to the inside, where Hamster can get at them. Hamster can then punt the bombs up through the sun at the center, igniting the bomb.

Once ignited, the bomb will explode in 20 seconds. The object of the game is to get the bombs to explode on the Snake's head.
