Game Information
Short Introduction:
You're a crew of murderous Goblin buccaneers on the hunt for treasure and fame! But how to make your crew stand out? Light your boat on fire! You have a limited amount of time per life to wreak havoc and collect as much loot as you can. When you do finally explode, you immediately respawn, so gather up your powerups again and blast back in to action!

Brief Play Description:

Choose a level and jump into the fray! As an up and coming Goblin Buccaneer, you need to become as infamous as possible. To inspire fear in your enemies, you've set your boat aflame! You have a limited amount of time before your ship burns to a crisp. Before that happens, you must destroy your enemies. Every enemy defeated grants you more infamy, as well as a cannon to salvage. Each cannon you pick up gives you added firepower! When you're finally destroyed, you receive more infamy for each cannon attached to your ship. Go out in a blaze of glory, you get more points! Battle enemies and die as many times as you want to increase your infamy, and become the most notorious Goblin around!

The theme of Ouroborous inspired us to develop mechanics around death, rebirth and consumption of your own being. In Flotsam, death and rebirth is inevitable and desirable to obtain more points. After death, the player consumes the pieces they left behind, restarting the cycle of death and rebirth again!
