Installation Notes:

Unzip the file and start KamiNoBuresuretto.exe.

If game does not start, download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86): http://www.microsoft.com/DOWNLOADS/details.aspx?FamilyID=a5c84275-3b97-4...

Updated version 1.1 at 2.2.2010:

Previous version was compiled against debug libraries, so it did not work on PCs where Visual Studio 2008 was not installed. Version 1.1 is build now correctly, so it should work okay now. We also made some improvements to controls, so the space ship is now easier to control.

Brief Play Description:

Collect the meteors to get the cheatcodes,
type in the cheatcode to receive the cheat.

Collect the green alien to increase your score.

Every time the spaceship hits the environment power is lost.
When power reaches 0 the game is lost.

You can't complete the game without a certain cheat code.
You need to find the logic in the cheat codes, if you want to get a high score.

SPACE = THRUST
UP AND DOWN ARROW = TILT UP AND DOWN
LEFT AND RIGHT ARROW = ROTATE LEFT AND RIGHT
KEYS A AND D = TILT LEFT AND RIGHT

We now compiled the game in release mode, so now it should work okay. We also made minor improvements to space ship controls to make the game a bit easier. =)

Hi,

I installed the redistributable, but it didn't help, so I figured I'd try installing Visual Studio Express to see if that helps, and it did. I googled the error I got a bit, and I found some indication that it could be that the game has been compiled in debug mode instead of release mode. You should check that. I think most people aren't willing to install Visual Studio to play the game. :-P

The Game needs Visual Studio runtime libraries.

Unfortunately we could have enought time to test the game with different PC configurations, so we didn't realize that Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) is needed to be installed on the computer before running the game. For that reason we didn't noticed to inform that in installation notes.

Doesn't work for me

I can't seem to be able to run the game. Windows XP says (in Finnish): "Sovelluksen käynnistäminen epäonnistui, koska sovelluksen kokoonpano on viallinen." ("the application's assembly is invalid", or something like that in English)
